Personality (in 40 words or more): Edward is a very musical person, who is kind, and very protective. He can be very old fashioned, like his aversion to having Sex with Bella or changing her, until she was his wife. He tries to do good with his powers, even if he believes himself a monster, a demon, someone without a soul. Bella is is world, as is his family, and daughter.

Background(In 100 words or more): Edward was born Edward Anthony Mason jr on June 20th 1901 in Chicago Illinois. From a young age he studied music. But his life was cute short in 1918 when he and his mother caught Spanish influenza. Carlisle changed him at his mothers request and from that day he has been a vampire who has stood by his fathers side through thick and thin.

In 1921, Edward gained a mother when Carlisle changed Esme to save her life after a fatal fall. He loved Esme like his own mother, in the same way he loved Carlisle like he was his own father.

Like any teenager, he rebelled against his parents, and went on his own in 1927. He was angry at Carlisle for curbing his appetite, so he spent a few years on his own. Only feeding on would-be murders. Later though, he returned to Carlisle, who welcomed him with open arms.

A few years after his return, Carlisle turned another female, Rosalie Hale. He turned her in hopes of finding a mate for Edward. Edward liked her well enough, but not as a lover.

He gained a brother when Carlisle changed Emmett Cullen in 1935, who became Rosalie's mate.

In 1950, Jasper and Alice joined their coven, making it the largest coven aside from the Volturi.

Until 2005 Edward was single, and had yet to find a mate, some vampires had showed interest, but Edward showed none. Until that fateful day when Bella Swan walked into his biology class. Her scent was more appealing than any other human he had met in his 103 years. He first tried to push her away, but gave up and became friends with her, and later.. lovers.

Edward later killed the Vampire James to save Bella, which he would unknowingly spark a dangerous path for bella, because James mate would vow revenge. eye for an eye.

After a 'eventful' birthday for Bella, Edward decided to leave to that Bella would be safe, where he spent months trying his hand at tracking, trying to find Victoria. When he learned Bella had 'died', he went to the Volturi to die. He was saved by Bella, but in return, the Volturi insisted Bella was to be changed. Edward later proposed.

A few months later, He battled Victoria and another vampire with the werewolf Seth Clearwater, and won, making sure Bella was safe. bella agreed to marry him.

They got married,and on their honeymoon, he got her pregnant, nearly killing her. But in the end he changed her, and the baby survived. That lead to further problems, when the Volturi came to kill the baby, believing her an immortal child. They sent the volturi packing, and Edward has settled for a a long life with his family.
